Sirius sighed and stared at the sheet of parchment again. It was all very...cryptic, though that wasn't necessarily surprising. Remus had always been good at cryptic. |
He didn't try to stop looking at the damned thing--it was Remus's fault for leaving it out--but he did try not to read it, if only because he knew what it said. Of course, his eyes couldn't glance at the parchment without noticing the words, and soon Sirius was, again, processing:
Somehow I doubt that. Remember how you were very straight?
He swallowed and looked up; Remus was probably in the next room. Trying to be nonchalant, he cleared his throat and called, "Oy, mate, who's 'S'?"
